I'm listening again very carefully to the amazing Maui Piano impro sessions ...
And i tried to find the piano part of "The Fire" in them ... but i couldn't ...
Somebody found it ?
Or did she fake it ?
Or did she take a part which was not broadcasted in the Maui sessions ? |

I love the Maui sessions, I would buy a whole boxset of Immi just playing piano...
I'll try and listen when I find the time. |

Weird ! Anyways, it's magnificent ...
I love to walk in the sun, listening to those improvisations ... just going nowhere precise and listening to the music ! It's magic ! |

The fire does not appear in the maui sessions, but a variation of it appears on the first night of the improvs. I assume immi relistened and based the improv on a section she liked. Recording it, probably on the first night i'd assume.
She does mention that the piano went out of tune quite quickly. I love listening to the improvs. I have them on my iPhone and when I'm stressed they're a brilliant listen.  |
