It would seem to me that there must be laws to stop Amazon and other retailers from this type of fraud?! Shocked

Let's hope the Ellipse DVD isn't as egregious an example as that novel (although I'm sure that's not the case).

If it was just Amazon making up a date then why would it say August 31st on imogenheap.com? I'm not upset, but I do wish that someone would fill us in.

It's not exactly fraud - their site will be littered with bits that say 'expected' and the dates will be accurate to best of their knowledge. Might be a case of the DVD taking longer to produce than expected... Might go have a nose and find out lol.

In europe (at least) it's forbidden to sell something (even preorder) that doesn't exist (i.e. not physically created) yet ...
That means that the dvds might already been somewhere ... at least a few of them ...

That's big news to me - and definetly not true in the UK... Think of all the games and stuff that are preorder-able upto 6 months before release (and more!). So not so sure that it's true that an item has to exisit. Maybe different in other european countries tho...

Oh really ?
I was sure it was an european directive ...
But maybe it was not transcribed into the english law ...
In France, a Thing cannot be put for sale when it doesn't exist yet ..

Hmmm ... I pre-ordered from Barnes & Noble's online site & I haven't heard anything like this from them yet. If the date had been pushed back you'd think we would have heard something from Immi, but maybe not.

Bad news guys, amazon has it right...
The official release date of Everything In-Between.

Sept 21st (US)
Sept 20th (Rest of the World)

This is due to authoring/manufacturing delays outside of Immi's and her managment's control.

So a little longer to wait!

Hi All! I was thinking about the upcoming DVD release and the footage that could be included.... Can anyone confirm if any footage from last summer's Tweet-Ups might be included? I was at the NYC one - what a cool experience.

No gurantees, but quite possibly. Might be a shot or two Smile

My order still says October 5th? I guess Amazon hasn't changed preorder statuses or emailed anyone.
I'm so excited for the day that I finally get this DVD in the mail.

I'm baffled by the... impatience of some people.
I don't know how to explain my confusion.
It'll get here when it gets here. Sheesh.

you know what will be really cool if she put a new music video just fro the fans on the dvd like 2-1 Very Happy or swoon

Considering the production cost of a video, that would be an expensive treat. Videos are made to promote album sales, and people who buy the DVD presumably already have the album. A low-key vblog performance would be inexpensive, though.

Did you bump your head while getting out of bed, dear?
LOL

Well, since no one is lighting the torches and wielding the pitchforks JUST yet, I'd say it's okay. Mostly people are just saying "i'd quite like that now, a shame I can not get it now." Nothing too baffling.

Of course it'll get here when it gets here. It'd take a special kind of magic for it to get here before it gets here. And it's certain not to get here after it's gotten here. It'll just be here. So there's comfort in that.

I like the way you put that. Smile And you are absolutely right. The logic in it is incontestable.

Are you looking on Amazon.com?
The site says something different... but I'm thinking Amazon's date might be the most up to date.

It's a little confusing, but we have two discussions of this DVD. (See topic: DVD Delay)
It does look like November 2nd is the latest release date, and maybe the last one. A quote from Immi's twitter a few hours ago suggests that it might be near completed.

Got my copy of the DVD from Amazon today. Very confused because the release isn't until November? But not complaining. Stunning documentary.

Amazon still hasn't shipped mine, so I cancelled and ordered directly from imogenheap.com

Does anyone know when or why Immi changed the name of the song originally called "Pollyfiller" (however you spell that) to 2-1? She never really talked about it on the DVD.

I don't remember her saying why she changed it, but the ratio for making pollyfiller is 2-1, pollyfiller paste to water. I vaguely remember her discussing the name change in a vblog, but I'm not sure which one.

Polyfilla is a brand name, and it may be illegal to use it as a title in some jurisdictions without clearance from the company that makes it.
