At this time of year 'Just For Now' fills my head, and there really isn't another holiday-sounding track on Ellipse to replace it. However, 'Tidal', my original choice feels more... 'spring-like' to me, so Wait it Out seems like a better choice for the winter.

In terms of singles, I'd like to see: Earth, Swoon, Tidal, 2-1, or Aha!

I think that Earth, 2-1, and Aha! would be great singles as they are songs that are rather different than most songs that are tended to be released as singles (not too mainstream-ish, or anything like that).

And maybe Swoon (just because it's so damn catchy) and Tidal (just because it seems like a hidden rock song).


In terms of music videos: I'd love to see Swoon, 2-1, Bad Body Double, and Aha!

Swoon, because it seems like it would go well as a music video (what an explanation, lol :_Smile.

2-1, because it seems like they could do something so extremely dramatic and surreal with it.

Bad Body Double, just because it the song basically set itself up for a music video (Imogen chasing and taunting Imogen!!!).

Aha!, because it seems like a video for this could just be so extremely scary, crazy, funny, and odd.

No no! But the cookies are still delicious! because I agree with you. The neat thing about immi song's is that you can look at it anyway you want, and some people might see totally different things.
Personally, I would love to see Aha! as a single. It was the first song that I heard and of course it pulled me in! (just like every other immi song) but that's just me. However, swoon would be really nice because its really pretty but still catchy! plus if there would be a video, I think it would be really cute!
But that's just me.

As you all probably know, 2-1 appeared on one of the lovely bones trailers, which has generated some new fans (I base this however, solely on youtube comments lol). With publicity already for the song, maybe this would be a good move for a single?

Personally I think Aha would be just awesome (can you imagine the video!)...second pick is probably tidal Smile

Although I think "Aha!" seems too short to be a single, it's probably one of the better tracks on "Ellipse" and I'd love to see the things that could be done with a music video, so I wouldn't mind seeing it released. It'd just need a fairly-long B-side to make up for the rather-short A-side. XD

I think if the singles are all chosen by the record company, as I've heard they are, then they'll most likely be only the most immediately appealing and mainstream-sounding songs on the album. I'm thinking Wait It Out, Swoon, Tidal & Halflife are the options. I'm guessing three more singles if we're really lucky, but probably just two.

Tidal, and Wait it out.
Tidal would make a pretty video.
Wait it out would be peaceful and ambient.
Oh and Swoon, whenver i look at the cover of Ellipse swoon plays in my head.
