| There won't be any more singles taken from Ellipse, there's not really much point releasing more than one single these days - especially when you're an artist who gets very little radio/TV play anyway. The touring is what's promoting the album now. |

| I would imagine that TV/movie placement is as important as radio these days, and Ellipse has had quite a bit of that. |

I'm sorry, Ed! I posted a similar thread...
I think that "Aha!", "Swoon", and "Tidal" are really self-assertive songs that have a lot of heart to them. That's not to say any of the other songs lack thereof, but I was really hopping for a very happy, bouncy single. Sadly, I don't think Immi's going to do "Swoon", because she's really opposed to creating anything else related to the guy the song's about, though there is always a chance.
On another note, I am starving for the first version of Tidal that we heard(Vblog #2 . I think the current one is stunningly majestic, but the first one just made me feel exuberant in the best way.

Hmmm... well, if the radio isn't playing her that's one thing... especially as she doesn't seem to NEED radio play.
The thing I most like about singles are the b-sides and remixes and stuff. So as long as we still can get some of those in some form I'm okay with it...
Though I will miss the packaging we got for singles like Headlock and Goodnight and Go. |
