i really like that song, is one of my favorites now. i think immi really put some spirit in that song (now i like blue october but they have a lot of sad songs)

'Twas Immi who turned me on to Blue October by means of "Congratulations," and it's yet another thing for which I must thank her.
I adore "Foiled." It's not for the emotionally faint of heart, nor for those who want their albums to conform to this niche or that: the darn thing is all over the place in the best possible way. |

I don't know why, but I only recently discovered this song!
I was looking on Deezer for some new music and stumbled on Blue October. When I started listening 'Congratulations' I was like: 'I know that voice! Immi!!!'
It's really one of my all-time favourite songs! Since the first time I heard it, I've been listening this song over and over again! |

yep, love the song as its my favorite Blue October song and my favorite Imogen Heap collaboration song as well!
if you go see Blue October on their Approaching Normal tour this year, you will hear them sing it live! its amazing...

and yes they are on tour...the new cd debuted at number 14 on the billboard charts and they ARE performing "Congratulations" on the set list!!!
they go to New York often and will be there again soon

I wonder if they would ever perform this live with Imogen. Would be great to see! I saw their new album in the stores today and I really wanted it but I had no money.
There's this song on there called "My Never" which got really popular because the author of Twilight, Stephenie Meyer, put it in her music playlist for New Moon (the second book in the series).
I don't mean to bring this to another Twilight debate, but that's how I heard about it - it's a really beautiful song, he performed it acoustically along with others on a special concert thing the singer of Blue October did with Stephenie. There's videos on youtube. |

yes good stuff indeed and yes, they would love to have immi perform with them onstage...
while they are finding success today, they admire imogen and strive to create the brilliance she creates...they really are huge fans of hers. |
